Our Story
Giving Back the Gift Sight
The Beginning
At the age of six years old, Dr. Tawfeek failed a vision screening given by her school. After a visit to a local Optometrist, she was overjoyed because she was given the gift of sight. She always looked forward to her annual visits with her optometrist. Being given the gift of sight inspired Dr. Tawfeek to "Pay it Forward" and become an Optometrist herself.
After graduating from Bellport High School in Long Island, NY, Dr.Tawfeek attended Stony Brook University. In 2002 she earned her BA in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Biology. She then attended The Pennsylvania College of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry Degree in 2006.
An Idea is Born
After graduation, Dr. Tawfeek moved back home to NY where she worked with a group of other Optometrists for 3yrs. In 2009, Dalia got married to a Hoosier and happily moved to the Indianapolis area to start her new life, family and business. Eye See You Optometry was created shortly after and has continued to evolve into a thriving business where Dr.Tawfeek can continue to provide quality eye care to all of her current and new patients!
